The 2013 Beaujolais Villages comes from 45-year-old vines and sees six months in stainless steel tank. It has a light red currant bouquet with a touch of seaweed. The palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, well-judged acidity and a clean, crisp finish. This is very fine “BV” to glug to your heart’s content over the next two or three years.
