Domaine d'Ognoas is a prestigious producer in the Bas-Armagnac that is part of a state funded school teaching brandy production. Located at Arthez d'Armagnac in the Bas-Armagnac, their vineyards are thought to be some of the best of the entire district. The products are remarkable and completely natural. The XO Armagnac is aged for ten years in cask, twice the minimum ageing for XO Armagnac. One of the stills at this estate dates from 1804, and is still in use!
